What we process
When you use Clipchop, our servers receive the YouTube (or other supported) URLs you submit, your chosen format and optional time range, and standard HTTP data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps. That data is needed to perform the download, debug failures, and protect the service from abuse.
Storage and retention
Completed files are written to disk for you to fetch via the linked URL. Retention length depends on how you operate the stack (disk rotation, backups, etc.). Application logs may be kept for a limited time for security and operations.
