How to download a segment of a YouTube video

Use Clipchop with optional start and end times to save only the part you need, in the quality you pick.
Copy the full YouTube link from your browser. On Clipchop, paste it and choose **Load options** so we can list formats for that video.
Pick a resolution or audio-only option. If you only need part of the video, fill **Start** and **End** using the same time formats supported by yt-dlp (for example `0:45` or `2:30`). Leave both empty to download the full video.
Start a download and wait until the file is ready. Your browser will open the finished file from our file server. Large files or busy workers may take longer.
